TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 3 Shoe Review

As a huge fan of TRUE Linkswear for years, it’s always a privilege to review a new product from the brand. The new TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 3 shoes are the perfect combination of style, comfort and versatility for on- and off-course wear.

Like their name implies, the All Day Knit 3 is designed to be worn throughout the day in any setting, especially during your round of golf. Let’s take a closer look at what will be a crowd favorite in 2023.

TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 3 Design

TRUE Linkswear have perfected the knit sneaker design over the years, featuring variants in their catalogue to match your preferences in shoe design. The All Day Knit 3 is the third generation of the brand’s best-selling offering and features upgraded elements all geared toward comfort, stability and durability.

The new All Day V2 outsole offers extra deep grip for long term durability. Inspired by mountaineering tread, the directional grip is optimized for stability on uneven terrain - on or off the course.

In true minimalist style (pun intended?), these shoes have a one-piece sock design that wraps around your foot with no extra panels, stitching, or excessive materials. This promotes an overall lightweight final product that forms to your feet, making the shoes individually tailored to you over repeated wear.

TRUE Linkswear suggests the All Day Knit 3’s are engineered for comfort every time they are worn. How do they stack up?

Feel and Comfort

The All Day Knit 3 is the perfect athleisure shoe for more than just golf. It’s rare to find shoes of this caliber that fit well right out of the box and feel like they’ve been “broken in” for months. I was incredibly impressed with this quality in the All Day Knit 3’s, instantly making them my go-to footwear for most occasions.

Over the years I have found TRUE Linkswear shoes to be insanely durable despite their minimalist and lightweight designs. The All Day Knit 3’s are no exception to this, featuring high quality materials that will withstand multiple wears on any surface you encounter.

Arch support and shoe width was perfect, allowing for maximum comfort on long walks. This makes sense, of course, since TRUE encourages you to #EnjoyTheWalk. The All Day Knit 3’s are the perfect companion for any walk on any terrain while also being damn good golf shoes.

When worn on the golf course, the All Day Knit 3’s outsole and subtle “softspikes” — which are more nubs than anything — provided the perfect mixture of traction and control during a golf swing. While these shoes are not waterproof, they do provide adequate protection from the elements in comparison to other knit shoes.

Overall Impression

While I will most likely wear them as casual shoes, the TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 3’s performed well on and off the golf course. They are very lightweight and extremely comfortable, molding to your feet after just a few wears. You will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable shoe that can be worn anywhere.

If you are most interested in a golf shoe with waterproof protection, you likely won’t find it here. After all, these are knit shoes and are designed to keep your feet cool as opposed to dry in very wet conditions.

I’ve been a longtime fan of TRUE Linkswear and will continue to be for a very long time. The All Day Knit 3’s are some of the best shoes they’ve ever designed, which is saying something for a brand that continues to exceed expectations every year.
