Tiger Shoots 65 at Barclays; Divorce Bought by Gatorade

Ok, only part of that title is true. But can we at least understand that Tiger's divorce had nothing to do with his good round today? Please?

Woods fired a 65 today in round one of the Barclays, also known as the first stop of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. In the process, Woods appeared to be more focused and determined than any other time this season. Or maybe it had to do with only hitting driver twice all day?

Woods used his driver only twice, although one was nearly perfect. On the 291-yard fifth hole, his drive landed pin-high and rolled 15 feet away for a two-putt birdie. He finished with a 6-foot birdie.

Seems that proper course management and a solid gameplan had everything to do with today's play, which resulted in Tiger's best round of the season. Divorce or no divorce, clear mind or not... let's not forget this guy is the World #1 for a reason.

Now let's see if he can close out a tournament.
