One of the benefits of being cooped up in quarantine for most of 2020 is talking more with friends in the golf media industry like Bill Bush of Driving Range Heroes. Following our podcast episode, on which we discussed a long list of nerdy golf gear topics, Bill and I thought “Hey, why not do this a little more often?” Hence, the creation of the Big Time Golf Guys podcast.

With a name that is definitely tongue-in-cheek, BTGG will be a crossover podcast that features myself and Bill talking about what we like to nerd-out about most: golf gear, new tech, and much more!

Expectations are exceptionally low for this project, but we do know it’s fun to talk about golf gear with a friend, probably over a few cocktails, and maybe learn a little something along the way. We hope you’ll join us in what will be a fun, informative, and relatable golf gear podcast.

Kris McEwen and Bill Bush join the show to discuss their experiences with golf media and playing the game during COVID. The three discuss whether current events in the world has helped them appreciate the game more from a "return to normalcy" perspective, and if golf has evolved in the process. The boys also discuss how the PGA TOUR has responded to the pandemic, what amateur golf has (and has not) learned from their example, and what this means for golf the remainder of the year.
