Product Review: Club Glove Caddy Towel

Readers of this blog will know that I've written about my experiences working as a caddy growing up in Chicagoland. Having a high-quality golf towel is the most important tool a caddy can have when doing his job, and the Club Glove Caddy Towel might be the best in its class. Typically known for their travel golf bags, Club Glove has just produced their newest golf product: the Club Glove Caddy Towel.

Easily distinguishable on television at all PGA Tour events by the white waffle texture and stitched trim, the towels are strong enough to remove dirt, grease and sunblock off a player’s hands, yet gentle enough to safely clean eyeglasses. The pro-sized Club Glove Caddy Towel (MSRP $19.95) has more than 5 million yards of microfiber strands, giving it the ability to hold 300 percent of its weight in water. I've now had the opportunity to play two rounds of golf with the Caddy Towel, and it is without a doubt one of the best golf towels I have ever used.

What I liked most about the towel was its ability to "grab" onto each club's face and scrub inside the club's grooves effortlessly and thoroughly. I tend to take some large divots every so often, so I also keep a wire brush on my golf bag in order to scrape excessive mud or sand from the club. With the Caddy Towel, not only did I not need the brush, but I also barely needed to wet the towel to clean the clubface.

Club Glove is also offering its Pocket Towel in a tandem package as a gift with purchase of the company’s renowned microfiber Caddy Towel ($10 value). The Pocket Towel is a smaller version of the larger Caddy Towel, and like its name implies, fits perfectly in your back pocket for the sake of convenience while on the golf course.
