PREVIEW: Cobra Golf KING F7 and KING F7+ Drivers
Being marketed as the company's longest and straightest drivers ever, the KING F7 and KING F7+ expand the collection of clubs under the legendary KING brand name. The F7 and F7+ provide golfers with a choice between oversized performance or traditional shaping while delivering playable distance and unmatched feel with extreme forgiveness. As an added bonus, each driver in the 2017 line up comes equipped with the COBRA CONNECT Powered by Arccos system – an ultralight sensor that is embedded in the grip, allowing golfers to automatically track the distance and accuracy of every drive.
“We are really excited to introduce our longest and smartest drivers with the new F7 and F7+ products,” said Tom Olsavsky, VP of Research & Development, COBRA Golf. “By incorporating the best zonal weighting technologies, we created the perfect combination of low CG and high MOI to give golfers the best in distance, forgiveness and precision. That, combined with the use of COBRA CONNECT Powered by Arccos, make for some of the most exciting clubs we’ve ever created.”
The KING F7 driver (MAP $349) features a larger face at address when compared to past models, increasing MOI, speed and forgiveness across the face. The driver still features full adjustability options to fine tune the club to match your game (which you should adjust ONCE and leave alone, you tinkerers). Additional COG advancements by way of adjustable clubhead weighting is present again, offering you even more customization.
Similarly, the KING F7+ driver (MAP $399) features all of the same tech found in the F7 in a more traditional, smaller clubhead design. Both drivers will be available in mid-January, 2017.
