Hey! Dean Wilson's Still Around!

Despite finishing in second place at this weekend's RBC Open, Dean Wilson let everyone know that he's still able to play this game pretty darn well. No matter what kind of swing he's using.

Known as one of the few PGA Touring pros that switched to the Stack and Tilt swing method, Dean Wilson has been pretty quiet on the tour, money list, World Golf rankings... you get the idea. However, with his second place finish behind Carl Pettersson (who shot 60 on Saturday and overcame a 6-shot deficit on Sunday), Wilson has already made $200,000 more this season in only 9 events played (4 cuts survived) in comparison to his grand total of $443,000 in 2009 earnings (29 events played; 13 cuts).

Wilson does have a win on Tour back in 2006, his only of his career. In that year, Wilson made $2.6 million in season earnings while carrying a scoring average of 70.71. Oddly enough, Wilson's scoring average is lower this season (70.08). Well hey, at least the swing change took care of that pesky six-tenths of a stroke!
