Steve Elling, long-time golf beat writer, author, and current writer/editor at GolfBlot.com, joins the Golf Unfiltered Podcast on tonight's episode. Steve and I discuss how he got started with golf writing, where he got his first big break, and the work he's been doing at GolfBlot.com. We cover what it's like to transition a bit from beat writing to longform, and now to the golf blogging game. Has golf blogging changed the way the game is covered? What are Steve's thoughts on some of the popular content being published on golf sites as of late?

Steve and I then discuss this week's PGA Tour stop, if there's anything notable about five consecutive first-time winners, and what's happened to the "old guard" of the Tour.
