TRUE Linkswear OG SPORT shoes.

TRUE Linkswear has pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in a golf shoe once again with their super-comfortable and stylish OG SPORT shoe. As part of the brand’s new SPORT Series, the TRUE Linkswear OG SPORT features a list of features packaged in a shoe that can be worn anywhere.

OG SPORT Technology and Features

According to TRUE, the SPORT Series shoes (which also includes their new LUX Sport) was crafted for the player who craves both purpose and wellness in their pursuit of par. Featuring the brand’s Adaptive SPORT Knit outer material, each shoe is ready to handle any endeavor in any season or condition. Their SPORT Series, including the OG SPORT, has been tested in all playing environments and surpasses industry standards for waterproofing.

The OG SPORT shoes include the following features:

  • Adaptive Sport Knit Upper Technology

  • New SPORT lacing system for personalized stability

  • Full sock fit flexible opening for slide-in comfort

  • New extra-strength heel pull system

  • Versatile Upper Flexibly Conforms to Most Foot Shapes

  • Fully Waterproof Liner Construction with 2-Year Waterproof Warranty

  • Tested to an Industry Leading 100k Dynamic Waterproof Rating

  • Cross-Life Tread for Maximum Versatility

  • Extra Wide Toe Box (D-EEE)

  • Zero Drop Construction for Optimal Feel and Power

Performance and Feel

The fit of the TRUE OG SPORT shoes is the highlight of the product, in my opinion. They are extremely lightweight and fit comfortably (not too snug, not too loose) around the shape of your foot right out of the box. As with the popular TRUE KNIT II, the OG SPORT feels more like a gym shoe or sneaker rather than a golf shoe. This is a fit and feel that I prefer.

TRUE has really nailed their lacing system, which features durability, comfort and a secure fit without feeling too snug. There’s nothing more annoying that a golf shoe that won’t stay tied, and the OG SPORT stayed secure throughout my time testing them.

Traction was never an issue, either. The bottom sole of the OG SPORT is closer to that of a gym shoe, but still has the perfect amount of “grab” on any turf. Even when wet, I did not experience any slipping while making a golf swing or walking on pavement.

The waterproof nature of the shoe was also impressive, considering the Knit outer material. I honestly don’t even know how TRUE was able to achieve this dynamic with a breathable knit shoe, but here we are. While I did not test this quality in extremely wet conditions, normal rain or early-morning dew will not be an issue for you.

Overall Summary

The TRUE OG SPORT shoes are another home run for TRUE Linkswear. The brand has definitely cemented itself as one of the most comfortable and high-performing shoe options on the market. As with most options in their stable, the versatility of the OG SPORT allows them to be worn anywhere, whether it be the golf course, office, gym, or everyday life.
