REVIEW: Sunday Golf Loma Bag

Sunday Golf Loma Bag.

Sunday Golf Loma Bag.

The Sunday Golf Loma Bag is the perfect minimalist option for players looking for a casual round on the weekend or just enough storage for a trip to the driving range. Featuring a classic design, great durability and multiple color options, the Sunday Golf Loma Bag is a fun addition to any golfer’s collection.

Sunday Golf Loma Bag Features

The concept of a “Sunday bag” has grown in popularity over the 2020 golf boom and entails a lightweight, minimal storage option for those causal rounds we all love. If you have ever played golf with a handful of clubs (as opposed to a full set) as to make walking nine holes easier, you already understand this concept.

The Sunday Golf Loma Bag is one of the nicest options in this category I’ve seen. Featuring a single strap design in a short, thin, tube-like stand bag, the Loma weighs in at under two pounds before adding clubs and golf balls.

Additional features include:

  • 31” Height

  • 1.95 Lbs

  • Frosty Pocket for a tasty bev

  • Velour lined valuables pocket

  • Dualflex stand system

  • Waterproof Zippers

  • Full-Length Divider

  • Built-In Carry Handle

  • Velcro Glove Holder

  • Tee Holder

That’s actually a lot of features in this ultra-thin bag that’s perfect for a trip to the range, your favorite par-3 course, or a practice session at your local pitch-and-putt.

Performance and Appearance

The Sunday Golf Loma Bag looks like a high-quality bag thanks to durable materials, the perfect amount of padding in the strap, and adequate amount of pockets. I was able to fit up to eight clubs comfortably in the bag, along with five golf balls, a handful of tees in the sleeve on its side, my cellphone, and a couple drinks in the cooler pocket. There’s even a velcro strip on the outside to hang your glove.

Walking with the Loma bag is a breeze. Even with all of my gear, this is still the lightest bag I’ve ever used in this category. I particularly loved the easy-to-use carrying handle, which is more of a lever than a hooked strap, making truck loading simple. The stand legs were also what you normally see on higher priced, larger stand bags.

While I’ve only used the Loma bag for a short period, there’s nothing in its design that would make me concerned about its long-term durability. After all, this isn’t a bag that you will use for every round, but is the perfect solution for practice situations described above.

The Sunday Golf Loma Bag makes for a fantastic gift for the golfer in your life, or something you should just treat yourself to. You won’t regret it, I promise.
