Golf travel may be at a minimum for most of us now, but the Stitch Golf Ultimate Garment Bag (UGB) is easily one of the best travel bags on the market. Thanks to a unique balance of style, features and usefulness, the UGB blew us away right from the start.

We were first introduced to the UGB at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando after hearing about its incredible accolades on social media months prior. Company CEO Brad King told us all about the bag’s backstory when he joined us on our podcast a few months later, further piquing our interest in the UGB.

At it’s core, the UGB is a duffle-sized leather travel bag with carry and shoulder straps, gunmetal hardware, and a soft, packable design any traveler will love. However, the luxury and style only Stitch can provide takes the UGB to a much higher level.
The most unique feature of the UGB is its ability to fold completely flat to open up for a “hidden” compartment that houses a suit jacket, 1/4-zip sweater or similar outerwear. This allows you to pack a business suit, for example, completely separate from the rest of the bag’s contents. Not only does this completely eliminate the threat of your suit getting damaged mid-flight, but it allows for more packing real estate.
A second, equally special feature is the UGB’s “drop the top” zipper system. This allows you to partially open the top of the bag just wide enough to access what you’ve packed without shifting everything around. In fact, you can access multiple layers of what you’ve packed, almost as if you’ve got a window to the UGB’s contents.

Overall Impression
The Stitch Ultimate Garment Bag delivers on everything it advertises and more. What we saw in person in Orlando carried over into our own UGB months later, cementing our opinion that this is quite simply the best duffel travel bag available anywhere.
The look, style, and functionality of the UGB is a combination you will not find anywhere else at this price point ($298). While this is not the least expensive bag on the market in this category, it very well may be the most fairly priced for what it offers.
