Golf Accessories for Men and Women (They Actually Want)

Golfers can be tough to shop for, especially considering the scope and variety of different products to choose. Golf equipment — irons, wedges, woods, and golf balls — can be expensive let alone confusing for the non-golfer to shop. That’s why most people turn to the massive golf accessories mountain in search of the perfect gift. A diamond in the rough!

Here’s a tip: there’s no such thing. However, there are a number of golf accessories for men and women that are absolutely vital for their enjoyment.

While the following list will not include names of specific brands (as to not exclude any), rest assured there are plenty of options in each category at different price points.

Golf Tees

Believe it or not, but the most abundant and often overlooked accessory in golf is also the most important in many ways: the golf tee.

While they may appear to be “cheap” or suggest the gift giver “didn’t try hard enough”, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Golf tee companies are popping up everywhere in recent years, offering golfers bespoke or custom options that are sure to excite the golfer in your life. Choose from different color and material combinations to add a personal flare to a part of the game that while small, is used every single round.

Golf Headcovers

Definitely an option that could be pricier and even more convoluted, golf club headcovers are a very popular gift for the hardcore golfers in your life.

Like golf tees, there are a large number of upstart and well-established golf headcover companies available both online and in stores. Golfers like to show off their personality with designs on their driver, woods, hybrids, and putter headcovers that are unique to them. Support a local pro sports team, a college alma mater, or literally any other hobby outside of golf on a custom headcover that any golfer will cherish for years.

Golf Gloves

This one will take a little more research to get hand size from the recipient, but golf gloves are also a unique and fun gift to consider. Much like headcovers and tees, golf gloves are quickly becoming one of the more fashionable accessories both men and women can enjoy.

Long gone are the days of pure white gloves on the golf course. You can now find bright designs and colors that cover the spectrum, as well as gloves made from a plethora of different materials. The vast majority of golfers use a glove while playing, so even if you’re unsure as to which type of glove to buy, chances are anything will do just fine.

Golf Rangefinders

Every golfer needs to know the yardage to their target while playing. Rangefinders are laser-guided gadgets that work similar to binoculars or a scope which golfers aim at a target, press a button, and get an instant yardage reading. In fact, rangefinders are even approved for tournament play in most cases.

While definitely on the higher end in terms of price, a golf rangefinder will absolutely delight any golfer on your shopping list.
